Welcome to my research website! I am an education researcher who focuses on equity and culture in engineering education. I’m also currently Director of First Year Programs and Integrative Engineering at the University of New Mexico, and an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering department. Professional Industry Experience
Senior acoustical consultant, Mei Wu Acoustics, Redwood City, CA, 2011-2013- Consulted and managed projects across a variety of sectors, including residential, education, medical research, performance arts, and transportation
- Projects include: Seagate manufacturing facility, Loyola Marymount University auditorium
- Modeled speech transmission for public address / voice alarm, plus consulted across a wide variety of projects
- Projects include: London Aquatics Centre (2012 Olympics swimming pool)
